Accessibility
We want every reader to be able to use this site.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA: keyboard access, visible focus, sufficient contrast and text alternatives. Report any barrier through our contact form.
What our accessibility aim covers
Our stated aim is WCAG 2.1 AA, including keyboard access, visible focus, sufficient contrast, and text alternatives. These are practical parts of making a guide usable, not just a visual style. A reader should be able to understand where a link goes, follow a page’s structure, and identify form fields without relying only on appearance. This aim is not a statement that every page, device, or combination of assistive technology has been certified or independently audited.
Report the task you could not complete
Use the contact form to describe the page and the action that was difficult or impossible. Examples include reaching a navigation link with a keyboard, reading text at a larger size, understanding an image, or submitting an inquiry. Identify the heading, link, or field involved if you can. Explaining the task helps distinguish a content problem from a navigation problem and is more actionable than simply saying a page does not work.
Useful context for an accessibility report
If you are comfortable sharing it, include the browser, device, and assistive technology involved, along with the steps that led to the barrier. Describe what you expected and what happened instead. Do not include passwords, account numbers, or unrelated medical information. A screenshot may illustrate a visual issue, but a written description of the blocked action is useful too. You do not need to diagnose the technical cause before telling us what prevented you from using the page.
Reading guides and completing forms
Page headings, lists, and questions are intended to organize information into usable parts. If the structure becomes confusing when using a screen reader or enlarging text, tell us which section lost its meaning. For a form issue, name the form and field rather than sending sensitive information again. If the contact form itself is the barrier, a report from someone assisting you can describe that limitation; this statement does not claim an alternative support channel that is not listed on the site.
External websites and physical places
Our guides link to agencies, organizations, and affiliated businesses, but this statement does not certify those external websites or the physical accessibility of a venue. Before visiting, contact the responsible organization about the features or accommodations you need. Do not infer an accessible entrance from an illustrative image or a short listing. We welcome reports that identify unclear wording or a broken source link as well as interface barriers, and we avoid promising a particular resolution time before the issue is understood.
